Water damage in unattended home
A pipe burst in a unoccupied home in Sumter, SC causing water to run unattended for what appears to be a long time causing damage to walls and flooring through out the home.
As you can see in the before picture the pressure of the water in the hardwood floors caused them to buckle greatly. While specialty equipment can save wet hardwood flooring if caught early enough, floors that have buckled to this extent require removal and replacement.
The home owner was pleased that the technicians that responded knew the exact steps that needed to me taken to get her home dried out and ready to be put back together.
