Mold in a spare room
We received a call from a client that stated that she opened the door to a spare room that she had not used in sometime and noticed that there was mold growing on the wall. Upon further inspection she saw that her wooden furniture and her carpet was stained.
The growth was caused by the moisture that was generated by a broken pipe in the utility room that bordered the spare room.
As you can see in the after picture the drywall and carpeting needed to be removed for successful remediation due to growth in the wall cavity and the porous carpeting possibly holding spores.
