Carpeting saved by fast response.

A broken supply line caused water to run through the structure in a Sumter, SC home causing most of the home to be affected. Upon arrival it was determined the carpeted areas of the home where highly saturated with water to the point that water would splash out of the carpeting when it was stepped on.

SERVPRO of Sumter technicians were able to quickly extract the water from the carpet and padding followed by applying equipment to dry the carpet so that it would not have to be replaced.

The home owner was delighted that her flooring could be salvaged.
